Biplang Yadok has successfully completed his PhD oral exam with Nobby Cordeiro as oral examiner. Biplang investigated the ecology of the African Giant Pouched Rat (Cricetomys sp. Nov) in Ngel Nyaki forest. Biplangs study is the most comprehensive investigation into the ecology of this widespread African African rat genus. Papers on different aspects of his thesis will be published soon –watch this space.
